If you have, then you can understand exactly how I felt when I stumbled upon Wordspy.com. This is the 2nd coolest site for word lovers. I hope you’re not sitting there wondering which site is #1.
So check it out, this site has been around for a while, almost 15 years. The blogger writes about new words that spring up. You can look through the archives and see that 1986 was the year that the Friday after thanksgiving turned black or that 2002 was the year of “Nascar Dad”. It’s a lot of fun to look back and see which words stuck (bridezilla 1995) and which words fell by the wayside (goomby 1989)
Not only is this a very entertaining site but very impressive collection of words.
